Gentle, Advanced Chiropractic Care for Lasting Relief.

Experience the Hanson Chiropractic Center Difference

At Hanson Chiropractic Center, we prioritize instrument-assisted adjustments as a more controlled alternative to the traditional “jerk, pop, and crack” manual methods. Many patients find those high-velocity manual rotations to be too forceful. Instead, we provide gentle, predictable care in Edmond through precision micro-adjustments. By integrating these techniques with Spinal Decompression, Class IV Laser Therapy, Shockwave Therapy, and professional Massage Therapy, we offer an exclusive combination of services designed for those seeking the ultimate in modern, low-impact relief.

A: No. At Hanson Chiropractic, we use instrument-assisted and low-force techniques. That is a deliberate choice over high-velocity manual rotation. Patients who have avoided chiropractic over forceful technique concerns usually find our approach comfortable from the first visit. We aim for precise, controlled correction, no twisting, no thrusting.

A: Spinal decompression uses a motorized traction table to reduce pressure inside herniated or bulging discs and on the nerves around them. For disc-related sciatica or low back pain that has not responded to adjustments, it targets the disc itself. It is non-surgical and done in-office. We review each patient first to confirm it is the right fit.

A: Class IV laser uses targeted light wavelengths to reduce inflammation, ease pain, and trigger tissue repair. It works well for sports injuries, tendinitis, and chronic inflammation that resists normal healing. Sessions are non-invasive and most patients feel no discomfort. It is often paired with chiropractic adjustments for faster recovery.

A: Shockwave sends focused acoustic pulses into damaged soft tissue. This restarts the repair process in tendons and muscle attachments that have stalled. Common conditions include plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, Achilles tendinopathy, rotator cuff pain, and chronic trigger points. Most patients see real improvement within 3 to 6 sessions. It works on its own or combined with adjustments and massage. Of course, individual results vary.

A: Yes, and there is a practical reason why. Adjustments correct joint alignment and nerve function. But muscles often hold tension patterns that pull joints right back out. Massage addresses that tension directly, making adjustments more effective and longer-lasting. Our licensed massage therapist is part of the care plan, not a separate add-on. The two treatments reinforce each other.
